Tyler The Creator, is Creating Madness

New musical artists rise to fame every year with the passing of others.  These artists use their stardom in a variety of ways, both positively and negatively. Whether they raise awarness about social issues around the globe, or promote abortion and gay rights, almost all artists use their social stature as a way to express their own views. It is quite obvious that not all musical artists believe in, or even respect ,the views and ideals of Christianity; however, one up and coming artist has made it his goal to attack and destroy the Christian faith.

In 2009, artist “Tyler The Creator” released his first album, and in 2011 his first song went platinum. Tyler proclaims that he is the son of Satan himself. His hit song “Yonkers” has over 25 million views on Youtube and is becoming a number one hit song on itunes. When listening to the song for the first time, I could not help but to feel sympathy for the artist. It is clear that he has a genuine hatred for all Christians and that he is surely lonely. His music not only attacks the Christian people and their faith, but attacks Jesus Christ directly. His music is as vulgar and offensive as anything that I personally have ever heard.

I urge anyone holding to the Christian faith not to listen to or support Tyler the Creator in any way. As a Christian community, we must ban together and rid ourselves of this kind of music. We cannot allow the ideas of this man spread anymore than it already has.
