What Season is it?

A normal winter in the Chicago area is full of 30 degree temperatures, 2-3 inches of snow, and snow storms. Last year it was cold and snowy and there also were huge snow storms where the Chicago area got almost 10-12 inches of snow. This year there is no snow! But the temperature is the same. Weird, right?  There are some pros and cons of the there being no snow. The pros are: it’s easier to drive in, no ice to slip and slide on, its easier on elderly people, you don’t have to stomp through the snow to get from place to place and there is not a lot to shovel. Some of the bad things are; there is not enough snow for snow days, no sledding, no snowman building, no snowboarding, and no snowball fights. This year’s winter seems more like a long spring, not super cold and not warm.
