Donald Trump running for president is kind of a joke. Though he is a very successful business man, it is weird to think that he wants to run for presidency. It is comparable to Arnold Schwarzenegger as governor of California. When a celebrity is involved in politics, the result seems to be bad. The only reason Trump or Schwarzenegger would win is because of the fame. Schwarzenegger led the state of California into debt, resulting in the worst debt in the country. Since California is run by a celebrity, would the country not end up the same way the state did: in even more debt? Trump clearly knows how to run a business and get himself wealthy, it might make the average civilian apprehensive about voting for him though, because he does not seem like he would have political experience. Usually, a good president would have been in the military and have governed a state just so he would know about all of the different things that the leader of the country deals with. However, we still have about a year and a half until the next election. So only time will tell if he is being serious about this campaign and what he has to offer.
