Selena Gomez Receives Death Threats

There is no doubt that Justin Bieber has become one of the most famous musicians among young teenage girls in the last few years. But when reports said that Bieber had a special connection with Disney Channel star Selena Gomez, some fans went from supportive to jealous and possessive.
Before the couple’s relationship went public, the two denied any subject of them dating.  According to dailymail.com Selena said that Justin was more like family or just a friend.  The two were spotted eating pancakes together. “Who doesn't like pancakes? We were both performing in the same place so we went and had pancakes together. That's all it is. All innocent,” said Gomez.  She also went on how she felt as if she was his older sister, and wanted to look out for him.
When Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez went on a Caribbean getaway was when the fans got fired up and upset. Pictures of Bieber and Gomez kissing on a cruise ship sent fans over the edge. Selena immediately started receiving death threats on twitter. According to tmz.com one of the minor death threats was this comment: “If you are the Girlfriend of Justin I will kill you I HATE YOU!” This is just a minor threat she received, there were many worse than this.
However, rumors are spreading that Gomez and Bieber have split and are no longer dating.  One source, from huliq.com, says that Selena caught Justin text messaging his ex-girlfriend, Jasmine Villegas.  Apparently, Justin denied that he was having any contact with Villegas but later, however, he told Selena the truth.  Gomez was heartbroken and told Bieber the relationship was over, but they could still be friends.  However, this is just a rumor and there are no proven details of the two breaking up.
As of right now, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are still a happy couple.  ‘Beliebers’ around the country and even around the world continue to either support the couple or hate that fact that “their man” is dating someone else.  Selena still receives death threats from these crazy fans but fortunately, there continues to be less and less.
