Cubs vs. Sox

As we all know there has been a rivalry between the North and South sides of Chicago since baseball began.

This year is no different, and because of this rivalry there has been a division between fellow baseball lovers. Some are Sox fans while others cheer on the Cubs. Personally I must side with the Sox because they have won a World Series in the last 100 years, unlike the Cubs. Also, the Sox have the support of the President, who has been a Sox fan most his life. Although the Sox had a disappointing finish last year, they at least finished ahead of the Cubs.

Now the Chicago Cubs are a baseball team that does not know what to do with all of their talent. Baseball is a team sport in which one player can sway the fate of the entire game, but if he does not have a team behind him that he can trust the team falls apart.

I am sure this season will have its ups and downs but I still do not see the Chicago Cubs or Sox winning the World Series this year. As bleak an outlook as that may be, it’s the truth.
