Phone upgrades coming soon

A new cell phone is the best thing to get even if your 1 or 92. Having the "new and improved" Smart phone in your hands makes you feel like maybe for a minute you’re just as technology savvy as Steve Jobs (Apple CEO).

Most, if not all cell phone companies, however, make you wait at least two years to get an upgrade discount on a new phone, while other newcomers get percent off the new droidsuperawesome5000 phone. The faithful customers are sent a "patience is a virtue" vibe with a two-year upgrade plan. This upgrade plan basically says, wait two years for the new customer discount. So while your friend, Steve, who just switched to your phone service, gets $400 dollars of the $500 dollar 2011supercoolawesome6000 phone you’re stuck with your 2002ehimprettycool100.
Some recent cell companies like U.S. Cellular have heard the cry of embarrassed old phone owners demanding upgrades to look as cool as their friends without the standard (overpriced) rate of a new phone. Since U.S. Cellular started this, a lot of customers have taken their business there. Realizing that this technique of “phone upgrades” makes new customers satisfied and makes money for the company, it would be in my opinion more beneficial to give customers the discount a little earlier at least.
