Human Trafficking

Human trafficking is the illegal trade of human beings for the purpose of commercial sexual exploitation or forced labor, a modern-day form of slavery. According to a 2004 report from the Human Rights Center in Berkeley, California, there are an estimated 10,000 forced laborers in the U.S., around one-third of whom are domestic servants, and some portion of whom are children.

Human trafficking takes away the rights of the woman and forces them to become objects rather than people.  This is forcing woman to become prostitutes, which is illegal. Woman involved in this may be scared, not knowing a way out. To them it may seem like an impossible dream to ever be free.

The National Human Trafficking Resource Center (NHTRC) is a non-profit organization against sex exploitation. Their phone lines are open 24/7, 365 days a year, ready to talk to anybody who needs help. You can take action and help fight again this corruption and have a slave free world.
