Korver

The Bull’s are one of the best in the NBA and have one of the deepest benches with about 9 – 10 players that get minutes every game. One of these players that come off the bench to do work is Kyle Korver who knocks 3’s down like nobody’s business. He is in the top 50 in the NBA for the season for his 3 point percentage with .415 and is the top 10 for 3 point percentage in playoffs with .486. Korver is what your typical shooter looks like and has the background you might think he would have, by being a white boy from the state of Iowa. Although he isn’t as good as Ray Allen he does know how to knock down 3’s when he is needed. Also, he has had his struggles in some games this year he is still the best 3 point shooting option that the Bulls have. Part of the problems which effect his shooting ability is that the Bulls try to use for too many other things besides shooting, that aren’t really his specialty, like pushing the ball up the court and running the offense every once in awhile. Instead of using him in things outside his expertise they need to use him for mostly one thing and that is shooting. He needs to be catching the ball off screens and knocking down his turnaround jumper that we bull fans love so much. If he focuses on this he will able to be a better and more consistent outside threat. Another thing he can do is when he isn’t coming off screens he should set up in the corner ready to receive the ball and shoot so that when rose driving he has an outlet option which will take pressure off himself and be another for the opposition to have deal with.
