Phantom of the Opera Rehearsals

This spring Westminster Christian High School is putting on the Tony award-winning production The Phantom of the Opera. Ever since February the cast has been hard at work, trying to prepare for the show. But as the performance day gets closer the practices have become more intense. Students have already been pushing themselves to their limit, but now they must push themselves a little further. Over the course of a few months there have been some very intense and special practices. Such as a rehearsal that took place on Monday night where the cast had the wonderful opportunity to practice singing along side the orchestra. With six hours of practice a night the pressure continues to build. Yet the cast has to be careful, for there are many threats when one pushes themselves that hard. So the cast and crew must now learn the balance between taking care of themselves and making sure to get those final practices in. All of this is important so they can give the community the best show possible.
