Did you know that over 7,800 dogs are abused per year just in America? How about the fact that over 3,000 cats and over 350 birds are also abused. Why?
One reason may be that some people think they are better than animals. News flash! They’re not.
Another reason may be that people think animals don’t feel the same way we do. Animals understand more than people think. They feel happiness, pain, and fear just like we do! People abuse animals by beating them, starving them, neglecting them and other things of the sort.
Think about your pets; you know when they’re happy, sad, and even when they are sick. All animals have these feelings, so why don’t people respect them?
