Are all the Facebook changes necessary?

It seems as though every time you log on to Facebook there is a new design or new system to Facebook.  Some changes are good and easy to deal with, but others are not needed and confusing.  Facebook is starting to become more and more complex.  Once you get the hang of the new format, Facebook changes it again.

Now you don’t get what’s happening right away on Facebook; you get statuses that were posted hours ago, which Facebook withheld because they felt that it was not a top story.  In the top stories section there are only one or two statuses and sometimes they aren’t even statuses. Underneath top stories is the section from earlier today.  Nowhere on the home page does it show statuses or updates or pictures that were just posted till hours later.

Now: about how the chat and messaging has changed. I believe that this change is better than the old way they used to do it, and I think they should make no changes to that.  Yet, you never know what changes Facebook is going to make next, or when. More ideas for changes could be happening right now.

Facebook changes are becoming a constant hassle and an annoyance. Facebook hasn’t even asked its users if they like all the changes, or ask for suggestions as to some changes that may be needed. Automatically, the creators are assuming these changes will make Facebook better and more satisfying for everyone.   Facebook does not need to be complicated. It should be simple and easy to use, therefore making it an enjoyable experience.

  1. Facebook will continue to change, A couple of days ago I was able to get a developer preview of Facebook's new feature called "Timeline". It is basically the new profile page. And it looks A lot different than profiles right now. But, as with most of the changes, users will get mad for about 2 or 3 weeks, and then adjust to the changes and keep on using Facebook.
