Ryan on the Wildcard

Baseball has been in a panic to see what team is moving on in the wildcard. The Yankees have clinched the AL East, Tigers have clinched the AL Central, and the Texas Rangers have clinched the AL West. However, that doesn't mean everyone else is out of the play offs. The good thing about the MLB playoffs is that there is a wildcard. The wildcard is getting close on both leagues. Right now, the Red Sox are one game ahead of Tampa Bay in the American League.

In the National League, the Atlanta Braves are 1.0 game ahead of the St. Louis Cardinals, who came off a great series against the Cubs. The Cubs are 19.0 games out of a playoff birth, so the chances of them advancing to the playoffs is impossible. The Cubs start a series with the Padres today when Casey Coleman takes on Mat Latos. However, the Cardinals start a series against one of the worst teams in baseball: the Houston Astros. So, the Cards can easily take the wildcard.

Who will win and get to the playoffs? Tune in and be shocked!
