Ryan on What to Watch For in This Year's Playoffs

The playoffs are right around the corner and everyone is worried about what team will win the World Series. The playoffs this year are shaping up to be exciting and thrilling, and if I were you I would expect great things. Amazing teams like the Tigers, Rangers, Yankees, Phillies, Diamondbacks, and Brewers are bound to make a run for their money.

A thing to watch for in this year's exciting MLB playoffs is the younger players in every team to step up. For example, Ryan Braun, a young powerhouse on the Brewers, has stepped up over the years. This is easy to do when you have someone like Prince Fielder backing you up, but in the playoffs, the Brew Crew needs a third person to step up and carry the team.

Also, look out for sluggers doing what they do best, which is hitting homers. Josh Hamilton of the Texas Rangers is one of those players to watch out for. I wouldn't be suprised to see a few intentional walks in the playoffs. Hamilton has had a great offensive season, smacking 20 homers and driving in 83 RBI's. Not only is he a threat on offense, but he can make amazing plays happen whenever the Rangers need it.

The playoffs are exciting and amazing to watch, and this year the playoffs will be even better.  From the Bronx Bombers to the amazing rotation in the Phillies system, to the great pitchers in Milwaukee: Who will become World Series champs? Watch the playoffs to find out.
