Kangaroos

It can run up to 40 miles per hour, leap a distance up to 25 feet, and clear an object that is up to 9 feet tall. This extremely talented and super interesting animal is the kangaroo.

There are three different types of kangaroos. The Eastern Grey tends to be the largest of the three types of kangaroos.  It primarily lives in the far east side of Australia.

The Red Kangaroo are known for living in huge groups and live all over Australia.

The last of the three types of kangaroos are the Western Grey. They are the smallest of the three and are known for their very strong, curry-like stench. They live mostly in southwest Australia.

Baby kangaroos are called joeys and when they are born they live in their mother's pouch for 5-6 months.

Kangaroos mostly feed on grass during the night.
