Chimpanzees

Chimpanzees are very interesting animals. These extremely intelligent creatures primarily live in Western Africa among tropical rain forests, woodlands, swamp forests, and grasslands.

Chimpanzees tend to live in groups of about 6-7, and stay together for long periods of time. Chimps are omnivores, which means they eat plants and meat. They eat leaves, fruit, seeds, bark from trees, tender plants, flowers, termites, and small animals.

These animals have black hair all over except on their fingers, palms, arm pits, and the bottom of their feet. Their senses are very similar to humans in that they have hearing, sight, smell, taste, and feeling. They typically weigh anywhere from 60-120 pounds depending on gender. They have very long arms but small bodies.
