Chicago Bears

The Bears pre-season did not go the way they had planned with a 2-2 record, only beating the Buffalo Bills and the Cleveland Browns. Many experts were expecting the Bears not to do too well this season, but the Bears are doing their best to prove them wrong and started the 2011 season off by putting a hurting on the Atlanta Falcons.

The Bears, led by their fearless quarterback Jay Cutler, won 30 to 12 with Cutler completing 22 of 32 passes for 312 yards and 2 touchdowns.  The Bears defense, lead by middle linebacker Brian Urlacher, gave up a mere 12 points to the Falcons and forced three turnovers, with Brian Urlacher taking a fumble back for a touchdown.

Even though the rushing game for the Bears did not go so well, they still came out on top in this one. With the help of Cutler's precision passing, they beat last year's division champions by a wide margin.

This looks to be a very promising start for the Bears in this 2011 season.
