Mega-Croc

This last weekend, a giant crocodile was captured in a small village in the Philippines.  Apparently, a 21 ft. crocodile had been terrorizing a small village in the Philippines for the last two years.

The hunt lasted about three weeks, but villagers and veteran hunters have finally caught the 1 ton croc. After it was caught it took nearly 100 people to pull the 2,370 lb. crocodile out of the water. After they got it out of the water, a crane was used to put it onto a flatbed truck, still alive.

The croc was said to be responsible for the deaths of a local fisherman and young girl. Obviously, the community was relieved to see it captured. As of now, the plans are to use the giant croc in an exhibit in a new ecotourism park. Not only is this croc gigantic, it is the largest crocodile that has ever been caught.  Locals are celebrating the capture.
