Westminster Baseball

Positions for Westminster Christian School’s upcoming baseball season are all up in the air. The baseball team lost a couple key players from this past year. Coach Moeller’s greatest concern for this 2012 Warrior baseball season is who the starting catcher will be.

As of right now, there are three players who all are fighting for this position. The first is senior Tyler Greene, who, although he did not catch a whole lot last year, is an outstanding baseball player all around.

Our second candidate for this position is junior John Michael Wawro, who was on the varsity team as a freshman and sophomore and is a fairly versatile player. He is familiar with catching the two star pitchers at Westminster Christian School, Kevin Elder and Ryan Perez, and would be more than capable of fulfilling this role.

Sophomore Clay DeHaan is also a great baseball player and if needed could be the varsity catcher for this season.
